I am meant to be by your side
That’s what it is
It is not my choice
But a knowing deep within
A treasure
It’s fiery gift unleashed with your embrace
Sends hearts and minds blazing
Let’s doubts and whims melt
Melting together you and me
Day by day
Might by night
Let it grow
Let it flourish
Let it live
Happily ever after...
It has it’s own life
It’s own momentum and pace
It is not just for me but for you
It is a momentous undertaking
So give it space and time and love
A huge step to take
Yet it is also natural
It’s the next step
It is touching your heart and mine
To never give up
The past wants to catch up...
But it is only the past
It is releasing the demons of fear -
They try to scare you
They cry out and then evaporate
As you stand without a doubt ...
It is only the past
That wanted to come out.
